Actor Morgan Stevens, who played Nick Diamond on the show Melrose Place, was found dead on Wednesday, Jan. 26, at his home aged 70.

 

A neighbour called authorities to do a wellness check after the actor hadn't been seen or heard from in a few days.

 

The actor was then found dead in his kitchen, police confirmed to TMZ.

 

Police suspect no foul play and he most likely died of natural causes.

 

Morgan had many guest spots across television. Aside from playing Nick Diamond in Melrose Place he had also starred in the show Fame where he played the teacher David Reardon for two seasons.

He also appeared on the historical drama The Waltons, as well as their three reunion movies, as Paul Northridge.

 

The Tennessee-native's other guest appearances include Murder, She Wrote and One Day at a Time.

 

His final TV appearance came in 1999 as he acted in Walker, Texas Ranger.

 

He worked alongside a host of huge names throughout his career, including Heather Locklear and Chuck Norris.

 

Following the news of his death, fans have taken to social media to share messages of condolence.
