The Performing Musicians Employers Association of Nigeria (PMAN) has announced a landmark partnership with prominent Brazilian investor, Mr. Fabio Pavan, aimed at injecting substantial investment into Nigeria’s creative sector. This historic collaboration is expected to drive significant growth within PMAN and across the wider Nigerian creative industry, highlighting PMAN’s commitment to international partnerships and economic advancement.
After months of extensive discussions, PMAN President Mr. Pretty Okafor led a team of notable industry figures to welcome Mr. Pavan and international business consultant Mr. Tope Onifade to Nigeria for the formalization of this partnership. Key stakeholders included PMAN’s legal counsel Henrie Eduozor, Esq., veteran musician and entrepreneur Mr. Daniel Wilson, architect and CEO of SWC Ltd Mr. Felix Arome (representing Olusco Heritage & Investment Ltd), and PMAN’s Federal Capital Territory Governor Mr. Sydney Jack Sparrow. Their collective efforts reflect PMAN’s dedication to securing sustainable international investments for the Nigerian creative economy.
The meetings, which commenced at the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja, concluded at PMAN’s Kukwaba District property, where the team celebrated a significant funding agreement. This partnership will accelerate PMAN’s long-awaited Abuja project, promoting deeper trade relations between Nigeria and Brazil while positioning the Nigerian creative industry as an international player.
